Antonios N. Fifis is the founder of Fifis Lawyers.

He received his education at the University of Thessaloniki, School of Law (1978), the Max Planck Institute for Commercial and Economic Law, University of Hamburg (1981), and Albert Ludwig’s University, Freiburg im Breisgau (1983 Dr. Juris i.sp.). He specializes in corporate, civil and commercial law, competition and antitrust, foreign direct investment, PPPs, real estate, construction and development, banking and finance, and gaming law. He has been acting for over 25 years for European and US corporates from various sectors, including real estate, financial services, gaming, energy, telecommunications, construction and development, as well as for domestic construction, publishers and media, pharmaceuticals and regional development groups. He was admitted to the Athens Bar in 1980, to practice before the Court of Appeals in 1987 and the Supreme Court in 1991. He was also admitted to the Bar of Cologne (Germany, 1993) and Aachen (Germany, 2004). He has served as legal adviser to a number of financial institutions including the Bank of Macedonia and Thrace (1987-90, senior adviser 1990-95), and Interbank SA (1991-93).He presently holds positions of senior counsel to the Institute of Regional Development, Panteion University (adviser since 1992) and senior legal adviser to the vise-rectorship for economic affairs of Panteion University since 2004. He is a member of the International Bar Association, the German Bar Association, the Hellenic Commercial Lawyers Association, the Association of European Studies and the Association of European Federalists. He speaks German and English.
